Riikka Aberg

Director, Food Safety

Riikka is the Food safety director in the City of Helsinki, Finland where she is responsible for the official food control. She is a specialist in Veterinary Medicine, Environmental Health and Food Safety (2008) and she earned her Executive Master of Business Administrative degree in 2015 at Aalto University, Finland.

Beginning as a DVM in 1996, Riikka has worked in various inspection and management roles within food safety at the national and local administration. She is a member in many national working groups related to food safety and food control
